Instinct is working with a long-standing client and world-renowned global professional membership and certification body, and they are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist (Learning Content focused) to support the review, preparation, and quality assurance of high-stakes assessment content. This organisation sets industry-defining standards for ethics, education and examination, and you’ll be joining the team responsible for ensuring exam materials are accurate, consistent, and flawlessly delivered through their learning management systems.
What You’ll Do
- Review & Align Exam Materials
- Review exam and learning content to ensure compliance with the organisation’s most up-to-date writing, style, and editorial guidelines.
- Become fully familiar with internal documentation and rules before making updates.
- Conduct detailed content reviews and implement required revisions.
- Prepare Materials for LMS Upload
- Identify materials ready for ingestion into the LMS (Canvas).
- Prepare associated spreadsheets and documentation for upload (actual upload handled by another team).
- Quality Review (QR) & HTML/Layout Corrections
- Conduct comprehensive quality reviews to validate accuracy, format, and placement of content.
- Compare LMS output to the original source materials and correct discrepancies.
- Edit HTML – especially tables, spacing, and layout to ensure correct display.
- Record changes for secondary internal review.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Click through modules, pages, and quizzes to test the full learner experience.
- Validate the final display, layout, and content.
- Troubleshoot and fix HTML issues.
- Escalate any persistent technical or content issues.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
- Significant experience in quality assurance / quality review of complex learning or exam materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy – especially with confidential exam content.
- Strong working knowledge of Canvas or other LMS platforms.
- Confidence editing HTML, including tables and layout.
- Ability to spot discrepancies across multiple systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across time zones.
- Highly organised, process-driven, and comfortable using structured workflows and version control.
- Experience conducting UAT on digital learning materials.
- Ability to manage multiple modules in parallel and meet tight deadlines.
- Must use personal mobile device for MFA.
Preferred Skills
- Background in learning design, assessment development, exam production, or content QA.
- Experience with metadata, content tagging, and structured documentation.
- Familiarity with proprietary editorial guidelines.
- Previous experience with confidential certification or examination content.
