How we source and match employers to candidates

When matching employers to candidates, we take the time to ensure that the pair are a good fit before going ahead with the process. This whole process includes five stages that help us better understand the role and the hopeful candidates.

  1. Consultation

Once you have submitted a vacancy, we will carry out a consultation with you to discuss the specifics of the role and the exact kind of employee that you require.

  1. Contract Discussions

If the position in question is for a contracted role, a day rate will be agreed upon along with the details of the work itself and the skills required to excel. There is also an option for a statement of work contract (SOW), a formal agreement which outlines the specifics and deliverables of a specific project.

  1. Screening Applications

After the job has been posted, we’ll vet each candidate before submitting a final list of individuals to you. If the job is needed as quickly as possible, we may use our wide network of companies and candidates to find the ideal candidate for you.

  1. Interview Process

Employers can now use these lists to conduct either online or face-to-face interviews. For candidates, we’ll make sure you’re ready for success before you meet the employer, providing assistance tweaking your CV and even offering mock interviews

  1. Job Offers

Once interviews have been completed and you’ve selected the candidate for you, we’ll coordinate salaries, start dates and the necessary paperwork so that they can get started as soon as possible.

  1. Aftercare

Now the candidate has accepted, the work doesn’t stop there. It’s advisable that you keep track of the progress of your new employee so that both parties are on the same page regarding what is required. By using our monthly timesheet portal you can track exactly how they’re using their time, maintaining the utmost efficiency.

We’ve made over 4,000 placements! Hear from some of our happy employers and candidates…

Kings College London
Instinct has been able to provide us with talented individuals who have been instrumental in enabling us to move forward with our programme development. Without them I do not believe we would be where we are now!. I would highly recommend Luke and Instinct to provide the candidates that you need, the turn around times from request to hire is simply amazing
English Institute of Sport
We wanted to hire some flexible resource, Digital Learning Designers and Developers, to support our internal team with some project work. As Instinct were already a supplier to the Crown Commercial Service Framework, they were already fully vetted and ready for us to use. We did speak to a few other agencies but the fact that they were on the framework was the deciding factor. Since our initial project, we’ve used Instinct again on multiple occasions. They take the time to understand our project and need and then can suggest solutions. Usually we can have a shortlist of suitable Digital Learning contractors within 2-3 days of us discussing the brief. We’ve also hired A Learning Consultant, LMS Platform Specialist, LMS Admins, Graphic Designers and Video Editors on this model. It’s a ready-made pool of flexible resource which we can tap into on demand.
Aggreko
All candidates have been excellent, they have all the skills and experience we were looking for, they’re curious, make suggestions and really get stuck in. In comparison to people we previously hired direct, the quality it like night and day between the two. Because we had used Instinct for previous recruitment and seen the calibre of candidates you were able to provide. Also, I had worked with you in a candidate capacity and knew what the candidate experience was like working with Instinct. Finally, my poor experience working with other recruitment agencies, a lot of which have been unreliable. In terms of quality and communication Instinct have stood out. The main thing is communication and being kept informed throughout the process.
