Our client is a global leader in managed learning services, learning technology, and workforce transformation. Operating across more than 30 countries, they partner with many of the world’s leading organisations to design, implement, and manage enterprise learning programmes that drive digital transformation and business performance.
For this programme, they have partnered with a specialist implementation consultancy, to deliver a major 9-month Cornerstone implementation for a global organisation within the Oil & Gas sector.
Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to provide senior leadership across the entire Cornerstone implementation programme.
This role sits above the Project Manager and Technical Engagement Manager, with overall responsibility for programme governance, executive stakeholder engagement, strategic direction, and ensuring all business and technical workstreams remain aligned throughout the implementation lifecycle.
You’ll oversee the health of the overall programme, driving governance, managing executive reporting, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery across both the NIIT/Bluewater delivery teams and the client organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programme governance across a large-scale global Cornerstone implementation
- Own the programme roadmap, integrated delivery plan, and cross-workstream dependencies
- Act as the senior escalation point for programme risks, issues, and delivery challenges
- Provide strategic oversight and direction to Project Managers and Technical Engagement Managers
- Review and approve project plans, technical plans, and change requests before client communication
- Hold client-side delivery leads accountable for key milestones, resource commitments, and delivery outcomes
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide LMS implementation programmes
- Proven background operating as a Programme Manager on large-scale Learning technology or digital transformation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders
- Experience managing multiple delivery workstreams across global or geographically dispersed teams
- Strong understanding of programme governance, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting
- Experience working within large global organisations
- Any Programme Management Qualifications would be a plus
