We’re supporting a national education charity that plays a leading role in transforming outcomes for pupils in underserved communities across England. The organisation runs a network of schools and curriculum programmes and is known for its fast-moving, impact-driven culture.
They’re currently going through a high-volume period of digital learning production and are looking for an experienced e-learning content designer to provide hands-on support on a short-term basis.
This is a mission-driven organisation working to improve educational outcomes at scale, particularly in areas of social disadvantage. Alongside operating a network of schools, they develop curriculum resources and support services used by schools across the UK. The team you’ll be joining is responsible for producing high-quality digital training and resources for internal and external audiences. They move quickly, care deeply about design quality, and value contributors who are self-starting, solutions-oriented, and confident working at pace.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build eLearning modules in Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Genially
- Turn static PowerPoints into interactive, brand-aligned learning experiences
- Build engaging elements like quizzes, clickable journeys, and animations
- Create and edit assets using Canva and Adobe Illustrator
- Prepare content for LMS upload in SCORM/xAPI formats
- Ensure visual and instructional consistency across all learning assets
What They’re Looking For
- Advanced skills in: PowerPoint, Rise, Storyline 360, Genially, Canva
- Strong visual design skills and attention to layout/detail
- Experience designing interactive learning components
- Understanding of LMS publishing standards (SCORM, xAPI)
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and hit deadlines
- Bonus: Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
