Data Governance Analyst

We’re working with one of our clients who are searching for a Data Governance Analyst to help shape how information is managed, standardised, and protected across the organisation.

Role

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement governance frameworks, and work with tools like Microsoft Purview to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Person

The successful person will have:

·       A minimum of 2-4 years prior experience in a data governance role

·       A solid understanding of data governance principles: data quality, data lineage, roles and responsibilities, and documentation.

·       Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or similar tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).

·       Proven ability to design and maintain dashboards or KPI reports to track compliance.

·       Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

·       A problem-solving mindset with experience identifying and remediating data issues.

·       Familiarity with automation tools or workflows to streamline data processes.

·       Awareness of data protection regulations and how they apply in practice.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
