The Role
Instinct is working with a long-standing client in the education space, who are recognised for their high excellence in teaching and learning standards. They are seeking two experienced Learning Designers to join an exciting online learning project. In this role, you will design, structure, and develop high-quality learning materials, working closely with subject matter experts to translate complex content into clear, engaging learning experiences. You will also use AI tools to support content ideation and creation, ensuring learning modules meet professional and pedagogical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and structure online learning modules using Articulate Rise.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex topics into learner-friendly content.
- Conduct research to ensure content accuracy and relevance, particularly in legal, governance, or compliance areas.
- Use AI tools to support content development, ideation, and enhancement.
- Ensure learning materials meet high-quality standards, accessibility requirements, and pedagogical best practices.
- Review existing content to identify reuse opportunities and suggest improvements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Learning Designer in higher education, professional education, or ed-tech environments.
- Strong instructional writing, content development, and structuring skills.
- Experience working with legal terminology or developing content in law, governance, or compliance.
- Familiarity with AI in learning design or willingness to quickly learn related concepts.
- Proficiency in Articulate Rise.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience developing content for MOOCs or large-scale online learning programmes.
- Ability to design content for multilingual audiences.
- Proficiency in French or Spanish.
