Role

L&D Account Director based in Germany. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a commercially savvy professional experienced in managing and expanding complex client relationships. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for key global accounts, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure exceptional delivery.

You will work cross-functionally across solution areas to design and execute learning strategies that deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities include

• Leading client relationships at the executive level (Chief Learning Officer etc)
• Developing strategic account plans and overseeing account performance
• Driving delivery excellence and stakeholder satisfaction
• Identifying and converting growth opportunities (upsell, cross-sell, renewals)
• Overseeing KPIs, SLAs, and commercial performance
• Leading proposals and strategic bids

Person

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced professional with a background in learning services and account directorship. Essential experience includes:

• 10+ years of senior account management or client engagement experience
• Proven track record in managing global enterprise clients
• Experience delivering complex, multi-region learning programs
• High cultural sensitivity and excellent stakeholder management
• Consultative selling and strategic bid leadership experience
• Native German speaker and proficiency in English
