Competitive Day Rate / 6 Month Contract / October Start Hybrid, with onsite requirments in Central London (Flexible) Contract

Instinct are working with a leading global professional membership body in the financial services sector, which is internationally recognised for setting the benchmark in investment education, ethics, and standards. They partner with regulators, universities, and employers, and run one of the most respected charter qualifications in finance and investment. Alongside credentialing, they provide thought leadership, professional development, and policy advocacy aimed at shaping the future of the industry.

They are looking for a Video Production Manager to join on an initial 6 month contract to join its global communications and brand team and lead on the delivery of high-quality video projects that translate complex research into engaging, accessible content for global audiences. This is a strategic and creative role focused on content leadership and project management, rather than hands-on editing. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex research and technical information into engaging, professional video content suitable for audiences across digital, social, and event platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Identify stories and opportunities within research and policy outputs that can be effectively communicated through short films, interviews, and digital video content.
  • Creative Direction: Prepare briefs, outline scripts, and plan production activity, ensuring alignment with brand, audience needs, and organisational objectives.
  • Production Management: Oversee the work of external editors, camera crews, and designers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects to a high professional standard.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, researchers, and policy leads to distil complex material into clear, accessible narratives.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise shoots and post-production edits to ensure content meets required standards of accuracy, brand integrity, and suitability for multi-platform use.
Candidate Profile
  • Substantial experience in a Creative Producer / Video Producer role, ideally within a corporate, professional, or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical or research-driven material into engaging creative content.
  • Strong skills in briefing, scripting, and story development, combined with a journalist’s instinct for identifying relevant and impactful stories.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across creative, academic, and policy teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and emerging AI-enabled video tools, sufficient to engage effectively with creative specialists.
  • Proven experience in supervising external vendors and production teams, with a strong focus on delivery, quality, and brand consistency.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven, globally connected organisation whose work influences both industry and society. The successful candidate will join a professional environment with the scope to shape how world-leading research and thought leadership are communicated to international audiences through creative and impactful storytelling.
