Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Learning Designer / Project Lead to support the delivery of multiple online courses across its digital learning portfolio. This role will focus on overseeing course development projects, coordinating learning design teams, and providing quality assurance across course builds. The successful candidate will combine strong learning design expertise with the ability to lead projects and ensure courses progress effectively through development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the development of online courses
- Provide learning design quality assurance across course builds
- Ensure courses follow effective digital pedagogy principles
- Coordinate course development timelines
- Align learning designers, academics, and programme teams
- Identify and resolve course development issues
Quality Assurance
- Review course structure and learner journey
- Ensure pedagogy and content flow is clear and effective
- Provide feedback and guidance to learning design teams
Essential Experience
- Strong background in learning design within Higher Education
- Experience developing online or blended learning programmes
- Experience coordinating or leading course development projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Canvas LMS
- Experience supporting executive education or online programmes
- Experience working with distributed learning design teams
