With thousands of highly trained employees, it is clear to see this company values the training and development of their staff, and they are now looking for an experienced technical Instructional Designer to join their team.
The Role
Our client prides themselves on focusing on the continuous improvement of their Learning & Development, as such they are now looking to reinvigorate old training materials by converting it into engaging eLearning courses and classroom-based training.
You will be working alongside a team of developers to bring your ideas to life, as such a key part of your role will be to ensure that the scripts and storyboards are creative.
As the client works in the Energy Services Sector, and the subject matter for these courses will be complex, extensive background in Electrical / Gas Engineering is essential!
Person
The successful person will have:
- Extensive Instructional Design experience is essential, designing primarily for eLearning as well as classroom training.
- A strong background in Electrical or Gas Engineering is essential. A scientific or physics background could also be suitable.
- Strong team player
- Effective communicator – both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel to occasional team meetings (once every month or two months)
