AI Learning Content SME (Accounting)

We are supporting a global professional accounting body in the development of a new AI-focused learning programme for finance professionals.

We are seeking an experienced AI Learning Content Subject Matter Expert (Accounting) to review, design, and develop structured, outcome-aligned learning content that integrates artificial intelligence concepts into practical accounting and finance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret existing course collateral and learning blueprints
• Develop structured, outcome-based content across defined modules
• Translate AI concepts into practical accounting and finance use cases
• Ensure full coverage of learning objectives and mandated topics
• Edit and refine content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and tone
• Work in a module-by-module (waterfall) approach, handing content to instructional designers for build

Required experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong understanding of finance and accounting functions
• Practical knowledge of AI / machine learning concepts, including generative AI, automation, and business applications
• Proven ability to translate technical or emerging technologies into clear, applied business scenarios
• Experience producing structured written content aligned to defined learning outcomes (e.g. training materials, articles, guides, or course content)
• Strong editing and content refinement skills (clarity, grammar, consistency, accuracy)
