We are partnering with a prominent professional education organisation to recruit an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to lead the definition, optimisation, and delivery of their B2B sales enablement capabilities. This is a key role within a fast-growing commercial division, providing the opportunity to shape how B2B customers are managed, engaged, and supported through Salesforce and other platforms.

About the Role
As the Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will play a central role in improving the organisation’s B2B sales operations. Working closely with Sales, Product, and Technology teams, you will identify gaps in existing processes, define requirements, and ensure that systems and platforms support the organisation’s strategic commercial goals. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence customer experience, pipeline visibility, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering for B2B sales enablement and CRM capabilities
- Optimise and enhance Salesforce and supporting platforms to improve usability, efficiency, and reporting
- Map customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and engagement
- Work closely with Sales teams to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and propose solutions
- Define and manage a platform roadmap aligned to strategic commercial objectives
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications for development teams
- Support change management initiatives and ensure adoption of new processes and tools
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Business Analyst experience, ideally with a focus on CRM, sales enablement, or revenue operations
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, customer management, and pipeline management
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and communicating complex requirements
- Ability to influence and work effectively across multiple teams, including Sales, Product, and Technology
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Exposure to sales enablement or revenue operations functions
- Experience in multi-platform ecosystems (CRM integrated with other sales/marketing tools)
- Familiarity with professional education, membership organisations, or regulated industries
- Experience developing process improvements and optimising platform workflows
Stakeholder Environment
- Collaborate closely with Sales teams, Product Leads, Technology teams, and platform owners
- Serve as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions
- Work within a dynamic, commercially-focused team environment
