Digital Learning Designer / Developer

The Client

Our client is a global life sciences organisation operating with a presence in over 80 countries, they are focused on delivering innovation that improves health outcomes worldwide.

As part of their continued investment in global learning, they are looking for a Digital Learning Designer/Developer to join their Digital Learning Development function, supporting learning across Pharma R&D, Quality, and Commercialisation.

The Role

This is a senior, end-to-end digital learning role where you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality digital learning solutions for a global audience.

You’ll operate as both a hands-on developer and design consultant, working across the full lifecycle — from instructional design and storyboarding through to build, testing, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design and storyboard development for global digital learning initiatives
• Manage end-to-end development of eLearning content, including build, programming, and visual direction
• Ensure quality assurance and user acceptance testing, aligned to SCORM/AICC standards and brand guidelines
• Contribute to innovative learning approaches, including the use of AI tools and modern learning technologies

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an end-to-end Digital Learning Designer/Developer
• Strong capability across tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite (incl. After Effects), and Captivate.
• Experience delivering digital learning solutions in complex or global environments
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theory
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia) is a plus
