We’re currently working with a digital workplace/intranet platform provider. Their core product is an employee engagement and interaction platform, primarily used as a corporate intranet solution. The platform allows organisations to host internal communications, training, knowledge content, and collaboration tools in one place.
Role
We’re looking for an Instructional Designer to support the redesign of their customer training programme. You will be responsible for redesigning and developing learning content that helps customers understand how to use the platform effectively in real-world situations. The current training is structured around features and levels (basic / intermediate / advanced), and the goal is to redesign this into a more modern, customer-problem-led learning experience.
You will work with subject matter experts to create a range of digital learning materials, including:
- Screen-capture and walkthrough videos
- Knowledge articles and written guides
- PDFs and quick reference / cheat sheets
- Short video or AI-style learning content
- Scenario-based and use-case-driven modules
Experience needed:
- Instructional Design / Learning Design – Creating structured, engaging learning programs that simplify complex content for learners.
- Customer or Product Enablement – Helping users adopt products or platforms and achieve real business outcomes.
- Systems or Software Training – Designing training for digital tools or platforms, addressing common user challenges.
- Working with SMEs – Collaborating with subject matter experts to create end-to-end learning experiences.
Nice to have:
- Experience with screen capture tools (e.g., Camtasia, Descript)
- Creating video-based learning content
