The dust has settled on Europe’s biggest organisational Learning Expo and the Instinct team are once again proud to have played their part. Certainly on the first day of the event, we can barely remember our Stand being busier; a suspicion confirmed when the organisers announced a record breaking attendance for any day in the event’s history.
Whether the crowd that congregated at our stand were there to seek career advice or merely to get their complementary personal caricature is one lingering doubt! Louisa, our resident caricaturist is now in her fourth Instinct Learning Tech’s and news of her talents has obviously travelled far and wide! (Digital copies will be sent to all who took part.)
More generally, we spoke to delegates from as far away as South Africa and Exhibitors all the way from Oz – this has truly become a global event. Our Head of Higher Education also noted a marked increase in visitors from that sector; perhaps the content at the show is appealing to an ever increasing audience?
A word on ExCel as a new venue; we all thought that the facilities were excellent but this is offset by the fact that it’s at an ‘out of town’ location and is less accessible to many. This didn’t stop us having a couple of decent nights in ‘The Fox’ – especially with complimentary drinks on the Wednesday night and a performance from the organiser’s son’s band to mark the ten year anniversary of the learning techs.
A successful LT’s has ensured a hive of activity for Instinct that has kept us busy in subsequent days, following up on all of the positive conversations we had with candidates, contractors and clients alike. Indeed, in the aftermath of the Learning Tech Exhibition, and, in the weeks preceding the release of New Tax Year budgets; February and March are always amongst our busiest months.
All in all, a fantastic couple of days – thanks to everyone who came by to say ‘hello’ and rest assured – we’ll be there again next year! #LT19uk #LT20uk
