Our client is looking for an individual to lead the management, delivery and enhancement of the Virtual Learning Environment. You will be an integral member of a leading Digital Education team as you plan and manage multiple upgrades, integrations and developments. They currently use Blackboard Learn and are transitioning to Blackboard Ultra, so a comprehensive knowledge of that VLE or similar VLEs will be vital for this opportunity. As this role is focused on technical, user and education improvements and standards, the chosen candidate will need an understanding of current technologies and Turnitin, YuJa and Ally. As well as the prior technologies, you will be advising a range of web technologies, UX designs and front-end tools.

The Person
As well as showing a keen eye for Learning Technologies, VLEs and the way they work, these are some of the key skills we have outlined for the position:
- Experience with Blackboard or similar VLEs
- Comprehensive knowledge of front-end technicalities
- Coming from a Higher or Further Education role
- Proven experience of enhancing the UX of a VLE
- Working with students, staff and academics to progress the VLE
