Our client is a global education provider currently undertaking a major learning platform transition. As part of this project, they are migrating learning content from their existing VLE, Insendi, onto Moodle before Insendi is decommissioned.

To support this migration, they are looking for an experienced Moodle professional to help move and recreate course content within a tight project deadline.

Role Overview

Working as part of the project team, you’ll be responsible for migrating learning content from Insendi into Moodle, ensuring courses, activities, quizzes and resources are accurately recreated and ready for learners.

This is primarily a lift-and-shift content migration project. While much of the work involves replicating existing content, there will be occasions where an exact like-for-like migration isn’t possible. In these instances, you’ll use your judgement to identify the best Moodle equivalent while maintaining the learner experience and integrity of the original course.

The project has a fixed deadline due to the planned shutdown of Insendi, so the focus is on delivering high-quality work efficiently.

Essential Experience

Hands-on experience using Moodle(essential)

Previous experience migrating content between VLE/LMS platforms

Experience building and managing Moodle courses

Experience creating or maintaining digital learning content

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Comfortable working towards fixed project deadlines

Able to balance quality with pace in a delivery-focused environment

This opportunity would suit someone with strong Moodle experience who enjoys hands-on content migration work and can quickly deliver high-quality courses within a fast-paced project.

With an ambitious strategy to expand its portfolio of digital learning, membership and partner products, the organisation is investing in a dedicated Product function to shape how product decisions are made across the business.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a Product Management capability from the ground up, creating the frameworks, governance and ways of working that will underpin future growth. As Product Director, you’ll be responsible for establishing Product Management as a distinct discipline, bringing greater clarity to prioritisation, ownership and decision-making.

Working at the intersection of customer insight, commercial strategy and delivery, you’ll help shift the organisation from project-led delivery to outcome-focused product thinking. You’ll work closely with Executive leadership, Commercial, Operations, Technology and Learning teams to ensure investment is focused on the products and initiatives that deliver the greatest value for customers and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Experience building or transforming a Product Management function.

A strong understanding of modern Product Management practices, operating models and governance.

Experience balancing customer needs, commercial priorities and delivery capability.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively at Executive level.

A track record of introducing effective prioritisation and decision-making frameworks.

Experience leading digital products, learning products, membership services or comparable customer-focused product portfolios.

Strong commercial awareness and an outcome-driven mindset.

The ability to influence organisational change without disrupting delivery.

Why Apply?

This is far more than a traditional Product Director role. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how an organisation thinks about Product, influence strategic investment decisions and leave a lasting legacy by building a Product function that supports long-term growth.
