Instinct is working with an acclaimed organisation which sits within a well-recognised education provider, known for providing high quality course content at varying levels for a specialist sector. Their research contributions are deemed excellent and are driven by a desire to create a positive impact on the world in partnership with global organisations. They are currently looking to further drive their media production offering across the entire organisation and are seeking an experienced Video Production Manager to lead in all areas of this.

The successful place holder will be tasked with overseeing all media production responsibilities across a range of different teams and departments, and will be responsible for filming for a range of different educational and promotional purposes. The ideal person will be confident and knowledgeable of the entire filming and post-production processes including editing, adding texts, and implementing graphics/interactive elements, as well as having a strong adherence to keeping all filming equipment in an excellent condition. Aside from this, there will be a responsibility to line manage a small team of 2, so previous experience managing another individual is required.

The ideal person for this role will have experience with:
  • Filming and editing video content, having managed the entire pre and post production processes
  • Setting up camera equipment, lighting, sound equipment, monitors, backdrops etc
  • Ensuring all media content meets appropriate accessibility requirements
  • Line management
  • Ability to direct others in front of a camera in a friendly, personable way
  • Project Management
