Assessor – Health and Safety

Our client is looking for someone to work with their organisation and taking on work on an ad-hoc basis. This will consist of marking learner’s portfolios against the organisation’s marking scheme. This is an opportunity to join a well-recognised organisation, and utilise your experience & qualifications to earn extra money around your current job. You will be pivotal in the learner’s assessment process as they endeavour to obtain a new qualification!

The Person

For this position, the following skills are a necessity:

  • At least a Level 6 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Qualification
  • Level 3 Assessor Qualification, such as ‘Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment’ or A1 Assessing, D32 or D33
  • Experience of marking qualification assessments with an awarding organisation
  • In depth knowledge of Health and Safety environments
  • 3 years’ experience working in education quality assurance, with knowledge of assessment principles
