Instinct celebrates birthday with new-look website

We're celebrating our fifth birthday with a brand new website, upgraded technology and expanded divisions across the business.

The new website, designed and built by Wilmslow agency Venn Digital, showcases our three specialist divisions, which recruit for e-learning, technology and creative positions. The site also features a brand new contractor area, where jobseekers looking for project work can upload their CV and get specialist advice.

Meanwhile, investment in fibre optic broadband, new hardware and a sophisticated analytics and performance management platform have all ensured that we are operating more efficiently and intelligently than ever before. We have also taken on accountancy firm Hurst to support our continued growth.

Instinct was founded in early 2011 by Mike Ward and Matt Owens, both veterans of the Manchester recruitment scene. Continued growth plans are in place for 2016 – along with a few further celebrations of the five-year anniversary.

Over 1,000 digital professionals have found their next contract or permanent positions with Instinct’s help, across both the Manchester region and nationwide. Could you be next?

“We founded Instinct knowing that we didn’t just want to tick along – we wanted to build a real Manchester success story,” said Mike. “We’ve now got a fantastic team in place, and with the new website and technology to support them we’re confident of breaking a few of our sales records in the coming months. Digital industries are thriving across the country, and we’re seeing increasing demand not only for candidates with highly honed skills, but also for the specialist recruitment services to seek them out. We’ve got no intention of slowing down.”

Mike Jackson, business services partner at Hurst, added: “HURST is delighted to be working with Instinct, at a really exciting point in its development. We see the digital sector continuing to show strong growth, Instinct has the right team and culture to make the most of its market position.”
