Regular visitors to our website will know that we’re happily celebrating our five year anniversary this year.
Those five years have included four office moves, seen us celebrate three Instinct weddings, two Instinct babies (and counting!) and helped three of our staff buy their very first homes. (and counting!)
We’ve made a name for ourselves at the Learning Technologies conference, the biggest event in the e-learning calendar. We have alsoenjoyed being finalists in two categories at the Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards (MARA Awards), and the North West Business Insider Young Professionals Awards. Our very own Andrew Welsh has also been named Manchester’s best young recruiter in the Manchester Young Talent Awards!
Most importantly of all, throughout those five years we’ve kept the promise that our co-founders, Mike and Matt, made when they founded the business – the promise to create a recruitment consultancy built around just that – consultancy.
We wanted to build a business where every single staff member, from fresh-faced graduate through to senior team leader and shareholder, follows the same professional approach to digital recruitment. Sure, we wanted to record strong growth too – and we certainly have – but we’re primarily focused on quality, not quantity. We wanted Instinct to become the best digital recruitment agency out there – and with multiple awards and revenues increasing by an average of 100% year on year, we think we can say we’re well on the way.
So to celebrate all those achievements – and to make plans for the next five years – we’ve just enjoyed an all-agency weekend at the wonderful Warwick Hall in Cumbria. In two nights we managed to squeeze in delicious food and drink, plenty of cricket on the lawn, an archery lesson, a quiz, a walk along the river, a hearty pub lunch and even a murder mystery (hats off to Chris Bradbury, who no one saw coming as the murderer!)
We’re all very excited to continue making Instinct the best digital recruitment business to work for and with, and would like to thank everyone who’s helped us get this far. Here’s to the next five years!
