Up to £47,000 to £50,000 per annum / ASAP Start Hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Central London Full Time

Instinct are currently working with a highly reputable global, technology focused organisation specialising in designing and implementing technology across the trading sector.

This global organisation is looking to grow their small learning team and bring in an experienced Learning Designer/Developer who can design and develop quality learning which will be rolled out across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and structure learning programmes aligned to learning outcomes and learner profiles.
  • Create engaging, visually appealing and pedagogically sound content across digital and blended formats.
  • Translate content into learner-friendly formats, working closely with subject matter experts.
  • Lead the content planning and instructional approach for each solution, from microlearning to in-depth courses.
  • Apply a range of design methodologies and learning theories to ensure accessibility and effectiveness.
  • Produce storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning content.
  • Use learning technology tools including Articulate Storyline to bring learning designs to life.
  • Design appropriate assessments and feedback mechanisms to measure learner progress and programme impact.
  • Manage project timelines, learning assets and quality assurance processes.
  • Curate and maintain learning content across digital channels, including the website and knowledge hub.
 Person specification
  • Proven experience in designing and developing blended and digital learning content using Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
  • Working experience in instructional design and instructional technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Course and curriculum planning skills.
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience in both learning design and delivery.
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts.
  • Confident consultancy skills to work with the business to understand and respond to their learning needs
Additional Desirable skills
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar is desired.
  • Experience in developing certification programmes
  • Confident facilitator of face-to-face learning
  • Voiceover experience
  • Knowledge of UX/UI (User Experience and Interface design) principles and methodology
