Instinct is working with a leading client in the professional education space, which boasts a significant global cohort of members looking to further their skill level with accredited programmes and qualifications. Aside from providing prestigious, market-leading certificates, they also provide essential research to raise industry standards and global networking opportunities for professionals working in this space. They are now looking for two experienced Frontend Developers to join the team and assist in a range of platform and system transformations for their global audience. Experience with Drupal & React, and/or the Canvas LMS will be required.
The purpose of the roles will be to develop a personalised content delivery system to allow for users to have access to relevant content based on their authenticated status and persona. The solution will operate within a sophisticated data framework, in which management of various user types and access levels required. While the underlying system remains consistent, different user groups will see varied layouts tailored to their needs, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. The platform will cater to distinct user groups, including students and members, ensuring they receive meaningful and engaging content. A core foundation will serve all users, with layered content and experiences customised based on persona and eligibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Strong front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience supporting a Drupal platform and proficiency with the React framework OR understanding of the Canvas LMS platform (Potentially some skinning and rebranding)
- Accessibility compliance (WCAG)
- Ability to work within the Internal Design System and adhere to brand guidelines
- Experience creating sleek, visually appealing designs
- Git repository management and ability to provide code samples, particularly for Drupal projects
Aside from a competitive daily rate, the successful post holder will have the opportunity to secure a long term partnership with a global education body, and will be working remotely with ad hoc travel to London.
