Our client is a learning agency that offers consultancy, learning technology, and both bespoke digital learning packages and off-the-shelf digital learning packages.
Role
You will be responsible for managing the financial function of the business and producing thorough financial status reports for senior managers to help improve operational efficiency and aid in the continued growth of the organisation. Additionally, you will evaluate, analyse, and report on appropriate data points and guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines in line with company policies and strategies.
Person
The successful person will be
- A strong communicator with excellent leadership abilities, leveraging these skills to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple departments.
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
- Proactive and results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in financial practises.
- Able to perform accounting activities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Able to manage a team of two, whilst performing daily hands-on finance management tasks.
- (FAVOURABLE) Experienced working for a start-up organisation.
