Managers Trust Instinct // October Review

The PL is really starting to take shape as we edge closer to the busy festive period.

Manchester City have grasped the initiative and have made the best-ever start to a Premier League season with 10 wins out of 11 and 6 consecutively. They are closely followed by their bitter rivals Manchester United who’ve also made an impressive start despite suffering away defeats at Chelsea & Huddersfield, who’s entire squad cost less than Luke Shaw. Just let that sink in for a second (Sorry Luke!)
November started with a traditional ‘Super Sunday’ of old – a double of Manchester City v Arsenal and Chelsea v Manchester United, which was full of goals and incidents, seeing both home teams securing massive victories.
In terms of players, the usual suspects are leading the points charts. Fantasy Managers with Kane, Lukaku & Aguero as captain have reaped the rewards, whilst slightly cheaper options such as Sterling, Sane, Vardy & Richarlison have offered consistent return on investment.
For those of you looking for some in-form bargains, here is the game-week 11 Dream Team;
Begovic (Bournemouth) – 9 pts
Cook (Bournemouth) – 15 pts
Baines (Everton) – 12 pts
Malone (Huddersfield) – 12 pts
Azpilicueta (Chelsea) – 12 pts
Matip (Liverpool) – 12 pts
Salah (Liverpool) – 15 pts
Shaqiri (Stoke) – 13 pts
Son (Spurs) – 10 pts
Mane (Liverpool) – 10- pts
Niasse (Everton) – 9 pts
In the ‘Managers Trust Instinct’ league, we have another new winner in Chris Stewardson who posted an impressive total of 194 points in October. Well done Chris – we’ll be in touch to arrange your prize.
Until next month,
Your Chairman
