Managers Trust Instinct // November Review

We’re approaching the half-way mark in the Premier League season and Manchester City are looking imperious with 14 wins out of 15. They are closely followed by Manchester United who have the chance to close the gap when the two meet this Sunday at Old Trafford.

At the other end of the table, there are a few PL clubs who are feeling the heat of possible relegation and have decided to switch managers. The usual ‘manager merry-go-round’ means its Moyes and Allardyce to the rescue for West Ham & Everton, respectively.

As for the players, here are the highest point scorers so far in each position, in a non-traditional 4-4-2 formation;

De Gea (Man Utd) – 83 pts

Valencia (Man Utd) – 80 pts

Azpilicueta (Chelsea) – 78 pts

Kolasinac (Arsenal) – 74 pts

Alonso (Chelsea) – 70 pts

Salah (Liverpool) – 113 pts

De Bruyne (Man City) – 91 pts

Sterling (Man City) – 89 pts

Sane (Man City) – 83 pts

Morata (Chelsea) – 83 pts

Kane (Spurs) – 82 pts
