We’re busy packing our bags, ironing our shirts and practising putting up the Instinct E-learning exhibition stand – yes, it’s that time of year again…
Learning Technologies, Europe’s leading showcase of learning technologies and organisational learning, takes place tomorrow and Thursday at the Olympia in London. And after a few successful years exhibiting, we couldn’t be more excited to be setting up home there once again.
It’s always exciting to get thousands of e-learning enthusiasts in one place. This is such a vibrant sector – people are always delighted to chat about the latest technologies and the plans they have for the year ahead.
In the five years since Instinct – and our specialist e-learning team – was founded, we’ve seen some big changes in the industry. We’ve worked through the rise and rise of mobile learning, the trend towards gamification and the increasing demand for 70-20-10 e-learning models. It’s been incredibly exciting to see new technologies develop and careers blossom.
But some things have remained the same. Every e-learning professional we work with remains fixated on the same thing – how to create the most effective, exciting and innovative learning experiences they can. More than many industries, e-learning is one that always has its eyes firmly on the end user – how to best help them learn and develop. And that’s a pretty inspiring aim to be part of.
We’re especially excited about the free seminars in the exhibition hall; it’s vital that we identify industry trends early so that we know which skills good candidates will need in the future. We’re especially looking forward to “Why Millennials Love Video Learning” and “Gamification- how to excite and engage your learners in 2016.”
You can find our team at stand D5 throughout Learning Technologies – so don’t be shy, come along and have a chat. Andrew, Matthew, Mike and Matt will be delighted to explore anything from your business’s recruitment strategy for the year ahead, to great interview technique (whichever side of the desk you’re sat on), to how to make the move to contracting.
And we’ve got an extra treat in the shape of fabulous caricaturist Luisa Calvo on our stand for the duration of the conference – so come along to pick your own free full colour caricature – created digitally, of course!
We’ll be tweeting throughout the conference and sharing some of Luisa’s work – look out for #LT16UK.
