The Client

We’re supporting our client who is looking for an experienced Courseware Designer with strong DSAT expertise to support structured training programmes.

This is a design-focused role within a regulated defence environment, responsible for developing, maintaining and governing training documentation. You’ll work closely with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure training solutions remain aligned to operational performance standards and Authority requirements.

The Role

You will support the analysis, design, review and maintenance of formal training documentation across military training environments. The position involves translating training requirements into structured DSAT documentation, ensuring outputs are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned to operational capability needs. This is a high-accountability role requiring confidence in navigating structured training frameworks and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or support DSAT-aligned training design activity
  • Capture and articulate training needs arising from new capabilities or changing requirements
  • Produce and maintain formal DSAT documentation
  • Engage SMEs through interviews and workshops to validate operational requirements
  • Update and revalidate course syllabi, standards and governance documentation
  • Incorporate internal and external assurance feedback
  • Identify opportunities for accreditation or amendments to existing accreditations
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned to Authority and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience working within DSAT frameworks
  • Strong background in courseware design and structured training documentation
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills
  • Active Security Clearance (SC) essential
