Our client, an esteemed national retailer, require a Web Designer / Front End Developer (Adobe, HTML, CSS) of middleweight experience (2-4 years) to work at their Head Office in London. The Web Designer / Front End Developer (Adobe, HTML, CSS) will have a great opportunity to immerse themselves in and shape the creative landscape of this prestigious brand across multiple channels; online, mobile and web applications etc.

The successful Web Designer / Front End Developer (Adobe, HTML, CSS) will have the following qualities and experience;

// Creative, design degree – ideally digital as opposed to fashion

// Solid understanding of the web and transactional websites

// Coding experience with HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS

// Experience with design software; Adobe suite, Photoshop etc

// Good understanding of Content Management Systems

In addition to this, the following would also be desirable

// Retail / ecommerce

// An interest in Fashion would be advantageous

As well as showing the expertise necessary to work with this established, high-class brand, the successful Web Designer / Front End Developer (Adobe, HTML, CSS) will also have to show the willingness and have the capability to understand customer journey, IA and usability, placing the customer at the beginning, middle and end of every design project.
