User Experience Consultant (UX) // North West // £35k – £40k

Instinct is proud to be working with one of the UK’s most reputable agencies outside of London.  We are seeking a User Experience Design Lead to take responsibility for articulating the digital purpose effectively through producing wireframes, prototypes and other Information Architecture (IA) documentation.  

This User Experience role is pivotal to the agency, so the successful UX Designer / UX Consultant will be responsible for working alongside digital planners, designers and developers whilst working on complex projects across a portfolio of outstanding clients.  Day to day responsibilities include:

// Requirement gathering, documentation and road mapping.

// User experience audits, user profiling and activity research.

// Running workshops & offering strategic & tactical UX recommendations

// Designing effective and engaging user experiences (UX)

// Presentation of concepts clients and internal stakeholders

// Producing prototype concepts to varying degrees of fidelity

// Producing robust IA (wireframes, site maps, user scenarios etc)

// User or persona profiling and scenario generation

// Outline and conduct user studies

// Ensure the usability & consistency of our applications for end-users

// Drive to refine & improve the User Centred Design (UCD) process

User Experience Design (UX / UCD) applicants should be willing to get their hands dirty and understand how the visual design can support the functional design and usability of good digital output.  You will need to be an accomplished, respected and resourceful user experience expert capable of leading and inspiring others with your insight.
