Top Manchester Digital Development Agency require a Software Tester // Web Tester // Games Tester to perform testing duties on websites, CMS’s and both web and mobile applications.  The role involves following ISEB testing approaches and therefore an ISEB qualification is preferred but not essential as company will sponsor the successful applicant through ISEB course.

This role will involve the following responsibilities:

// Defect management tools; Test Track, Bugzilla & Target Process

// Checking the functionality of new developments & applications

// Finding & inputting problems into the defect tracking system

// Testing bugs against newer versions of code and updating bug reports

// Designing test cases and creating in DevTest as required

// Liaising with development, production and test teams

// Authoring test plan documents & designing test cases

Reporting to the Head of Software Development this is a superb opportunity to build on existing knowledge of development in a cutting edge digital organisation which uses .net, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, Java Script, MVC, Java, Ruby On Rails, Objective C and Photoshop etc.

Applicants should have some experience of working in a test environment, be able to work to deadlines and will have commercial experience of software testing and creating / implementing test plans, whilst showing a willingness to develop their own skill set.
