Senior UI / Web Designer // Chester // £25k – £35k

Instinct currently has an amazing opportunity within a thriving digital agency based in Chester. We are looking for a senior UI/Web Designer with a real eye for detail and passion for design.

The successful UI / Web designer will be working with a team of other brand/web designers and developers to create online and offline design solutions. Some of the day in day out projects that the designer will be tasked with will include; designing and branding clients websites, brochures and advertising campaigns. You will understand traditional design disciplines such as typography, colour and layout. Your outstanding portfolio of work should demonstrate how you’ve been applying these skills to a variety of websites and email campaigns. We want to hear from UI / Web designers who have experience working on stylish backend systems, or ecommerce platforms, or even retail high street brands.

Essential Requirements:

// Strong commercial experience in UI / Web Design

// Experience in using Adobe CS, Photoshop and Illustrator

// Excellent verbal and written communication skills

// Able to clearly communicate design concepts with colleagues & clients

// Ability to produce quality design work at a fast pace to tight deadlines

// Demonstrable experience of designing user interfaces

// Experience working with front and back end websites and Ecommerce

Advantageous Requirements:

// Creative and SEO copywriting skills

// Agency experience

// Mobile / application design experience
