Java Developer // Manchester // Perm // £25 – £35k

Global Internet business based in Manchester require an ambitious Java Developer (JAVA , HTML, CSS, JavaScript, J2EE) for City Centre based role. This is a superb opportunity for a Java developer who wishes to work in a non-restrictive environment where they can exact their own influence on a range of tasks. The day to day role will include working with a team of designers from multiple disciplines on the enhancement of the website and associated products.

The successful Java Developer (JAVA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, J2EE) will gain the opportunity to work for a company whose recent growth has been, and continues to be outstanding. The successful Java Developer (JAVA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, J2EE) will have at least 1 years’ experience (up to 4 roles, salary dependent on experience) and will ideally have experience in the majority of the following areas;

• 1+ years J2EE experience in a commercial environment

• JSP and Servlets

• Struts/Spring or any Java based web application framework

• Hibernate and SQL (preferably MySQL)

• HTML/CSS/JavaScript

• Interest in website usability and customer experience

• Experience of developing ecommerce websites advantageous.
