ASP.Net Developer // Manchester // Perm // £28k – £30k

Our Manchester based client is currently seeking an ASP.Net developer to assist within the development and maintenance of their flagship home-grown product. The successful ASP.NET developer will work within the clients Product Team who work on building new features for their software product and enhancing existing features, using Microsoft’s ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and other Microsoft development tools.

 

As part of the Product Team the developer will be working alongside business analysts, project managers, QA, UX designers and other developers. Our client is eager to have someone join their flexible working environment at their superb ultra-modern HQ office.

 

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

// Working with senior members of the engineering team on architecture, design and development

// Being self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

// Producing accurate work estimates

// Using ASP.Net development best practices to produce well documented, stable and reliable features

// Producing technical specifications to the company standard

Requirements

// Minimum of 3 year previous ASP.NET web application development

// VB.NET and/or C#

// Previous experience of multi-tier application development

// Experience in designing and developing secure and scalable object-oriented commercial enterprise software

// Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL is required

// Actively used source control /continuous build software

Desirable

// Full life-cycle experience

// TFS 2010 exposure (source control, automated build and bug tracking)
