After graduating with a BSC (hons) from the University of Birmingham in 2000, Matt joined the graduate scheme at Best International who were a large independent recruitment company. In a tough market he progressed to consultant specialising in contract recruitment within the technology market. In 2005, Matt was recruited by a startup agency, ReThink Recruitment, and subsequently spent over 5 years as consultant and manager at what is now a £50 million turnover company. In this time he was consistently recognised as one of the company’s elite performers achieved through the development of long term customer relationships in both the public and private sectors. Matt is highly experienced in and comfortable with both contract and permanent recruitment.
Since making the career change from a structural engineer and qualified CAD draftsman, Mike has accumulated over 10 years of recruitment expertise from various sectors and environments. In 2001 Mike joined Creative Resource, a small consultancy recruiting within the Advertising, Marketing and Digital Media arena, here he spent 6 years progressing to manage the Manchester operation. He was head-hunted in 2007 by ReThink Recruitment, with ReThink Mike recruited across digital media, e-learning and other periphery disciplines within the public & private sector. In a 4 year tenure, he established a strong reputation as a high achiever, resulting in being nominated by the IRP for a recruiter of the year award 2010. Mike has client side experience, significantly with the Co-operative Financial Services HR & resourcing team where he was responsible for high volume internal and external recruitment campaigns.
